Professional Staff Recruitment

 

Residential Services supports the active participation of all professional staff in professional organizations.. To that end, each Residence Director and Associate Residence Director is provided funding for professional development annually. We expect our staff to be actively involved in professional organizations, such as ACUHO-I, GLACUHO, NASPA, NASPA IV-East, ACPA, and CASCHA. In addition to funding for external professional development, Northwestern and the Division of Student Affairs offer significant opportunities for development on campus.

The Division of Student Affairs offers staff development activities throughout the year.  In addition to these programs planned for the year, the Division offers workshops and discussion groups to respond to current trends and issues that may arise on campus or in the field.
